Voice Thread

VoiceThread is a cool way to teach something or get a point across via slideshow using pictures and your voice. If I had a classroom I would definately use the VoiceThread method, because it makes it fun to learn. You can teach a subject and be funny at the same time. More teachers across the country should use this method more.

week 10 blog

After creating a brochure and a resume using microsoft publisher was a pretty good experience. It really was not as hard as I thought to create brochures. I think it was pretty cool to create a fake brochure promoting myself. As far as the muddy points go there really weren't any in my view, using publisher really made the process easy. I would use publisher to to create business card for my class, so that they can have my contact info.

Week 7 posting

The Wii helps instructors to point, in a physical education aspect. Being that when playing the we it requires actual physical activity. Online chats and instant messaging can be of value if used in the right context. If used i think it can add learning because it can broadened a student's mind to other students views and opinions. Yes there are benefits with text based communication than face-to-face because no matter what time of the day you can keep a line of communication open. If used in the right way podcasts can enhance a students learning. Video games does not develop studying habits. In my opinion games are much so distracting and easy for kids not to study. When my kids get older they will not be allowed to play video games on a daily bases.

DELICIOUS

I think that Delicious is a good site and a good tool to create and put it to use. I personally probably will use this in the future because I like the fact that, no matter where I go I can take my internet book marks or favorited with me.

INSPIRATION

Te website you how inspiration works. It gives an in-depth overview of what inpiration is all about. Helps withh brainstorming, and how to have a truly organized assignment. Inspiration woulb be great for any student to use. Whenever you have a project or a research paper, this tool will help you take your assignment to the next level in a very easy way. I'm so happy to have found out about inspiration, for future purposes I will use this site for organizing my brainstorming and organizing purposes.

Technology is a wonderful tool for writing. Especially if there are writing assignments that require using blogs such as the assignments for this very class. When u get a group of students to get together and read eachothers writings that will help a lot with writing assignments. Blogging and emailing are great tools for peer feedback.

BLOGS

I really don't know what to think about using blogs because I have never used or created a blog a day in my life. Back when I was attending the University of Houston teachers and students would talk about them as if they were the next greatest invention. Honestly, I wouldn't really know how blogs are useful for education being that I have never experienced blogging until know. I'm pretty sure that a lot of people may think that blogs are a waste of a student's time. To me blogging seems like a recreational type of deal.

Hello my name is Derrick Hubert, and I am a Kinesiology major at the University of Texas A&m Commerce. I have been blessed to be on the Dean's list at almost every University I have ever went to, and I plan to graduate on the list.I have a close family that are all very smart and all have degrees.
